If you want a bit of hardware upgrade advice for the future though, the Steam Deck may be able to play Halo MCC better than your PC can, and you'd be able to avoid the current GPU market entirely getting one. Halo 2: Anniversary and Halo 4 will not work because you don't have 8GB of RAM and because of your CPU, go to the DLC tab in Steam and uncheck the Halo 2 Anniversary and 4 box to reduce the download size by over half. You'll be able to run Halo CE, Reach, 3, and ODST, at around 720p/30fps average on the "normal settings", and maybe a bit higher on the "low settings". Whatever you do dont install the windows live 3.0 redist like I did. Well install Halo 2 as your FIRST windows Live game and then install windows live manually from the dvd its under the redists folder and named XLiveRedist.msi BTW this will work for vista as well. So where does it leave Windows 7 users and Halo 2 for now. when i download the collection, does it start with reach, then CE, then Halo 2 etc. Any way to get it to do so I have Halo 2 Vista and played it every once in a while back when I had Windows 7 and it worked fine. You might want to Google it, here Ill help. Halo 2 Vista on Windows 10 won't run when it ran fine on 7. But I think someone did manage to crack/patch it so it was able to run on PC.
